Schoology Isn’t Connected Yet — You Can Still Start Monday

There is no Schoology integration today. There is also nothing your district needs to install, approve or roll out before you can use GradingPal with your own classes.

Being Specific About It

No roster sync. No grade passback into the Schoology gradebook. No app inside Schoology, and no single sign-on. If a comparison table says otherwise — including one of ours — it is wrong, and we are fixing ours.

Nobody Has to Approve This for You to Try It

An integration would need installing at district level: a ticket, an admin, a procurement conversation, and most likely a term of waiting. Because there is no Schoology integration, none of that applies. You sign up yourself, with your own class’s work, this evening if you want to.

Your students do not need accounts either. You can grade a set of work and hand it back on paper without anyone but you being involved. See what GradingPal grades.

Getting the Work In and the Marks Out

Three steps: get the submissions out of Schoology; grade them in GradingPal, with your own rubric or one it drafts; put the marks back into your gradebook. Two file transfers rather than a sync. You can bring the files in exactly as you would from anywhere else.

Some districts restrict what teachers can download from Schoology. If yours does, you can still upload the work you have — scans, photographs, documents — and grade it exactly the same way.

If Someone Asks You Whether It’s Approved

  • Student work is never used to train AI models.
  • There is a data processing agreement and a student data agreement a district can sign.
  • The compliance position is published in full, not asserted on request.
  • If your district wants to talk to us, there is a way to do that.

Security and privacy in detail, or talk to us about your district.

Want the Integration? Tell Us

Enough people have asked that we are tracking demand.

Knowing which districts are waiting is how this gets prioritised.

We will write to you when the Schoology integration is ready, and not about anything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does GradingPal integrate with Schoology?

Not yet. There is no Schoology integration today — no roster sync, no grade passback, and no app inside Schoology. Work moves as files instead: bring the submissions into GradingPal, grade them, and export the marks back into your gradebook.

Does my district have to approve GradingPal before I can try it?

No. Because there is no Schoology integration, there is nothing to install at district level — no ticket, no admin, no procurement conversation. You can sign up yourself and grade your own class’s work this evening.

Do my students need accounts?

No. You can grade a set of work and hand it back as a printed pack without anyone but you being involved, which matters if your students’ accounts are managed centrally and you cannot add anyone to anything.

Will GradingPal build a Schoology integration?

Enough people have asked that we are tracking demand. Add your district to the waiting list and we will write to you when it is ready.
